⛩ Asa Mitaka is the main protagonist of the Academy saga. She's a high-school student who has become the host of the War Devil, Yoru, making her possessed, although she still retains her human personality when using her powers and being controlled, making her a rare case of a living host.

She attends the same high school as Denji, with whom she is trying to start a relationship.

As a host to the Devil of War, Asa has the power to turn anything she owns into a weapon. This includes both objects and living beings. To activate the weapon transformation, Asa must touch what belongs to her and call out its weapon name. The strength of the weapon is proportional to the degree of guilt Yoru and/or Asa feel for having created it.
