⛩ Bleach: The Diamond Dust Rebellion is the second animated film based on the Bleach anime and manga series. The film is produced by Noriyuki Abe and written by Michiko Yokote, and was released in Japanese cinemas on December 13, 2007. In France, the film was released on DVD by Kazé on January 6, 2010.

An artifact known as the "King's Seal" is stolen while being transported to Soul Society, while the Tenth Division of Gotei 13 was in charge of its security. Tōshirō Hitsugaya, the captain of this division, goes missing after a battle with the thieves. Ichigo Kurosaki finds him wounded and unconscious in the human world and takes him home for treatment.

Tōshirō escapes and finds himself in the Soul Society, fighting vice-captains. The Seireitei then suspects him of treachery and orders his immediate capture. The rest of the division is placed under heavy guard and deprived of zanpakutō. Meanwhile, Tōshirō is sought by thieves and must face up to a part of his past, which is said to involve a long-dead shinigami...
