⛩ The Soul Society Arc (anime) is the second arc in the Bleach anime series. Broadcast from March 1, 2005 to July 19, 2005 in Japan.

The arc is divided into two sub-sections. The first, running from episode 21 to episode 41, is the Soul Society assault arc. The second, running from episode 42 to episode 63, is the arc of Rukia's rescue.

The Soul Society, or Spirit World, is where humans go after death - also known as the Plus. It's also where the Shinigami live.

In this arc, Ichigo and his companions must invade the Soul Society in order to save Rukia, which will lead them to battle the world's most powerful Shinigami.
