⛩ Nezuko Kamado is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. Nezuko was transformed into a demon at the beginning of the series by Muzan, but she turns out to be a special demon as she does not seem to be compelled to obey Muzan or eat humans.

An important trait of Nezuko as a demon is her ability to constantly restore her powers without having to eat humans, which is the norm for most demons. Instead, she regains her strength through sleep, often spending a lot of time in her box.

Just like Tamayo, Nezuko is a special demon on whom Muzan has no effect and who still holds many secrets.
