Initially, Majin Buu is an evil being corrupted by Bibidi, showing no regard for his surroundings and nearly killing his creator for amusement several times. It’s only during his fight against the Grand Kai, when he assimilates him, that Buu softens, becoming a character with unpredictable reactions and a somewhat clumsy demeanor.

This assimilation not only changes Buu's appearance but also significantly limits his power, making it easier for Bibidi to control him. Throughout Dragon Ball Z, Buu takes various forms, each with varying degrees of power and malice, by absorbing people such as Gohan, Kai, and even the evil Buu.
