⛩ Granola is a bounty hunter who used to work for the Heaters. He is also the only known surviving Cerealian, a race that was wiped out by the Saiyans under Freezer's orders. He is motivated only by his desire to defeat Freezer and the Saiyans, and hopes to avenge his people.

Despite his obsession with vengeance, he retains his humanity, as when he begged Vegeta to go fight outside the city. Towards the end of his fight against the Saiyan, the latter emphasizes his hypocritical behavior, in contrast to his peaceful race; following these words, Granola loses his composure and prepares to sacrifice himself against Vegeta. This shows how vengeance has driven him so low that he's willing to abandon his basic principles (i.e. defeating Freezer) just to silence Vegeta.

However, his aversion to the Saiyans diminishes when he learns that he has been saved by one of them and that the true killer of his mother and exterminator of his race is none other than the one he used to work for.
