10/ Storm Inn - A classic fish out of water

The Stormy Inn follows Zhang Qilin, a swordsman so talented and deadly that he has earned the nickname of the Devil. However, after many years commanding the Red Dragon cavalry, Zhang Qilin has decided to retire. Eager to lead a normal life, he bought The Stormy Inn, an old tavern in desperate need of repair.

Over time, he restored the premises and hired a few locals to help him run it, but other inns soon became jealous of The Stormy Inn's success, forcing Zhang Qilin to use his old skills again. Fans of series such as Way Of The Househusband will love The Stormy Inn, as it takes the fish-out-of-water concept and gives it a touch more action. What's more, Zhang Qilin and his team are utterly lovable, making this series hard to let go of once started.

The Legend of the Northern Blade takes place in a world where an evil group, Silent Night, threatens the world. Fortunately, the Northern Heavenly Sect fights against Silent Night to protect the world and keep the peace. Alas, the group falls into chaos when the leader of the Northern Heavenly Sect is accused of working with Silent Night. To save his child, Moowon, he disbands the organization and commits suicide.

Moowon leads a boring life, watched over by former cult members. However, when Silent Night attacks, Moowon flees to the mountains and begins training, hoping to avenge his father and defeat Silent Night. A fantastic fantasy adventure with excellent battle sequences, The Legend of the Northern Blade is perfect for fans who love high adventure and rich fantasy worlds.

8/ I Killed Him

I Killed Him follows Kim Mooil, a lawyer who makes most of his money from simple copyright cases, most of which are handled quickly and with a minimum of fuss. But Kim's life is turned upside down when his landlord visits his office and admits to killing a man. However, before Kim can investigate the claim, the owner commits suicide, making the case much more complex.

But as Kim investigates further, he finds himself embroiled in a much larger criminal network involving powerful locals, forcing him to exercise caution. I Killed Him is a fantastic crime thriller that will delight long-time fans of the genre because of all the twists and turns in the story, many of which they won't see coming. On top of that, Kim Mooil is a terrific central character with lots of personality, which makes him fun to root for.

7/ My bloody life of reincarnation

Hamel is a powerful warrior engaged in a battle against the demon kings. Set in the kingdom of the Oriental Nation, The Remarried Empress follows Empress Navier Ellie Trovi, the husband of Emperor Sovieshu. On the surface, the two men are happy and the kingdom is doing well. Privately, however, the two men are drifting apart. When the Emperor brings Rashta, a concubine, into the house, Navier knows that things are in motion. On the day the Emperor asks for a divorce, she accepts but demands that she be allowed to remarry, revealing that she is in love with a new man, Heinrey, another Emperor, leaving the whole kingdom confused.

The Remarried Empress is an excellent throne-room drama, featuring an intriguing lead character and memorable court intrigue. As intrigue, double-crosses and deception pile up in all directions, readers remain glued to the page, desperate to know what will happen next and who will emerge victorious.

5/  The skeleton soldier failed to defend the dungeon

The Skeleton Soldier failed to defend the dungeon follows The Skeleton Soldier. During his life, Skeleton wanted nothing more than to protect Lady Succubus. Alas, he failed terribly when a group of soldiers invaded the dungeon and killed the Skeleton and Lady Succubus. However, the Skeleton wakes up and finds himself twenty years in the past, giving him a chance to undo his mistake.

So The Skeleton embarks on a quest to become as strong as possible in order to save Lady Succubus. At its core, The Skeleton Soldier Failed to Defend the Dungeon is a well-executed resurrection fantasy series. The decision to make the hero a skeleton is an inspired one, upsetting the usual dynamic and leading to a highly memorable story.

4/ Nature's daughters

Girls of the Wild's takes place at Wild's High, an all-girls MMA school. But this year, things are changing at the school. To improve student socialization, the school is allowing male students to enroll, and Song Jae Gu is the first and only male to agree. However, Song soon finds himself beside himself, doubly so when he incurs the wrath of Queen, the Wild's League tournament champion.

But it's not all bad, as Song also befriends taekwondo expert Choi Dal Dal and boxer Lee Moon Young, who try to help him navigate his new life. Girls of the Wild's is a gripping drama filled with twists, tension and many wonderfully realized characters, making it a fantastic series for grounded emotional drama, school drama and combat sports.

3/ Time roulette

Jeonghun Han is a law student struggling to make ends meet. Despite his best efforts, he can't seem to get ahead. But when he visits his father, he finds a time wheel and accidentally gets caught in a time slip. After escaping the slip, Han realizes that he somehow belongs to the Joseon dynasty.

Before Jeonghun can panic, a messenger tells him that the only way for him to get home is to complete the Time Roulette mission, forcing the student to adapt quickly to this new world if he is to survive. Time Roulette takes the template of the isekai genre and does unique things to make it stand out. It combines this with sumptuous artwork, making it a fun read for fans of manhwa and time travel.

2/ The Ember Knight

Nagyunn and Najin are two identical brothers who care deeply for each other. However, when Nagyunn witnesses Najin's murder, he vows revenge on the people who shattered his happy life. To take his revenge, Nagyunn assumes Najin's identity - but he soon runs into a problem, for although Najin was a strong and skilled warrior, Nagyunn lacks all these skills, forcing him to train hard if he is to continue his lie undetected.

The Ember Knight is an excellent revenge story with a unique twist. Nagyunn's attempts to pass himself off as his brother lead to many distinctive moments and tensions as readers wait to find out if anyone has seen through his lie. Underneath is a perfectly realized tale of revenge, filled with drama and pathos.

Yijae Choi's life isn't going well. He has no job, he still has a crush on his ex despite her leaving him, and he's just lost the rest of his money in a Bitcoin scam. Unable to see a way out, Yijae commits suicide. However, in doing so, he angers Death. For this reason, Death chooses to punish Yijae, telling the young man that he will endure death 13 more times, each time in a different body.

However, there's a twist in the game: if Yijae can change the course of these bodies and help them avoid their impending doom, he'll be able to live out the rest of his life in this body. A fantastic series that mixes existentialism with a healthy dose of Quantum Leap, Death's Game is a thrilling and exciting drama that tackles many fascinating subjects.
