Jin Enjoji, also known as Jiji, is one of the main characters in the Dandadan manga series.
A childhood friend of Momo Ayase (and unknowingly her first crush), he lost contact with her after she moved away. Years later, he enrolls at Kami High School and reunites with her after seeking help from her grandmother, Seiko Ayase, to rid his house of the evil eye that had been haunting him—an event that leads him to become the vessel of the yokai. After Okarun subdues the evil eye, Jiji becomes one of the few who assist Momo and Okarun in their quest to retrieve the latter’s kintama.

Gabimaru
Appearance
Jiji is a very tall and muscular young man, even taller than his own parents. He has short brown hair with bangs that fall to his eyebrows, leaving only the middle of his forehead visible, and brown eyes. The girls at his school consider him very handsome.
When he was first introduced, Jiji was wearing a tracksuit with a tank top.
At school, Jiji wears a collared shirt and tie, jeans with a belt, and the school blazer. He also wears dark hoop earrings.
Personality
Jiji comes across as a very hyperactive young man who loves to express himself through dramatic gestures and facial expressions. He also has a habit of ending his sentences with strange verbal tics like “Fuuuuu” or “Fuuuuwaaaatsu.”
Some girls find Jiji funny and charming, which adds to his good looks. Others, however, find him annoying. Seiko Ayase believes his eccentric personality makes him seem like a fool and sarcastically calls him a “genius.”
Jiji is also noted for being somewhat of a playboy. After being introduced to Momo Ayase’s classmates, he immediately asked one of the girls for her number with enthusiasm, calling her cute at first glance and flirting with Momo’s friends.
Despite this, he has proven to be good-natured. After reuniting with Momo, whom he hadn’t seen since childhood, Jiji sincerely apologized for mocking her in the past and stepped in to protect her from a charging anatomical model.

Background
During childhood, Jiji was friends with Momo Ayase and, unknowingly, her first love. However, after Momo began following her grandmother Seiko Ayase’s instructions to perform a ritual, Jiji mocked her harshly and eventually lost contact with her when she moved to the mountains with her parents.
At some point, Jiji began noticing strange occurrences around his house but chose to ignore them, as his parents didn’t believe him. Soon, however, he encountered a spirit in his home and began seeing it wherever he went—even in his dreams—leading to severe sleep deprivation. Following this, his parents were hospitalized with a mysterious illness.
With no other choice, the family sought help from renowned mediums to perform an exorcism, but the attempt failed—three of the five mediums committed suicide. After being told that contacting Seiko Ayase was a last resort, Jiji reached out to her and was granted permission to move in with her until the issue could be resolved.

Jiji gained the ability to see spirits after encountering the Evil Eye in his former home.
Ki
Jiji possesses incredible ki reserves, making his spiritual energy extremely rare and highly sought after by evil spirits. Since training under Seiko, Jiji can use his ki to suppress the Evil Eye sealed within him when he comes into contact with something cold. However, he noted that doing so requires immense effort, leaving him exhausted afterward.
Techniques
Ha Wave
Jiji can release his ki in an invisible burst that pushes back everything in its path. He performs it by concentrating his ki into his hands, then thrusting them forward while keeping them together. The primary advantage of the Ha Wave lies in its attack power, which allows Jiji to repel his target and strike from short or long range. However, as Aira pointed out, the Ha Wave lacks the offensive strength needed to deal significant damage to his opponent.
Evil Gun
An enhanced version of the Ha Wave powered by the Words of Power, where Jiji shouts “Evil Gun” to boost his attack power. This unleashes a powerful energy beam from his hands. This technique was first used to attack one of the space globalists who was restraining Aira, ultimately freeing her.
Power of Words
After learning from Momo that words can amplify attacks, Jiji began incorporating this effect into his spiritual power, enabling him to boost the offensive force that his techniques initially lacked.
